PHASE ONE

Introductory Consultations
Meet with key client executive(s) to understand position scope/ requirements, company objectives, industry and competitive environment.

Position Specifications and Action Plan
Prepare and submit a detailed position description that forms the basis for initial discussions with candidates.  Prepare action plan with client, setting up mutually agreeable and realistic target dates for major search milestones.

Candidate Research
Contact candidates identified through broad base of sources.  Identify individuals currently performing targeted position as well as candidates who could be promoted into this role.


PHASE TWO


Candidate Development
Conduct initial interviews with prospective candidates.  Provide client with comprehensive summary along with recommended actions.  Submit written profiles including evaluations of recommended candidates. Objective is to present 3-5 qualified candidates who meet client's specified requirements.


PHASE THREE

Client/Candidate Interviews
Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics.  Provide feedback to client and candidate concerning post-interview thoughts and impressions.  Continue to recruit and develop back-up candidates.


PHASE FOUR

Candidate References
Obtain references from candidates as well as secondary sources.  Check references and provide client with comprehensive written report.

Candidate Closure
Assist in contract and compensation negotiations; develop current employer separation plan and transition strategy.





Client





Clearly communicate position requirements.  Identify any specific candidates or companies to be pursued or avoided. Review and approve position description.  Identify executive team members who will participate in candidate interview process.




















Agree to and actively participate in regular progress reviews.










Interview candidates, provide post-interview feedback; select lead and back-up candidate.








Actively participate in reference checking process.





Prepare and extend offer of employment to selected candidate.  Prepare for offer negotiation; obtain acceptance of offer and tentative start date. Maintain regular dialogue with selected candidate throughout transition period.
